Trivio

Terms of use

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These terms govern use of Trivio's pre-launch site at trivio.tech. The donation platform is not yet active: these terms will be updated before launch to cover the real services.

1. Scope

These terms apply only to the Trivio pre-launch site at trivio.tech. They cover viewing the site, signing up for our email updates, and any correspondence you send us. They do not cover the processing of donations — the platform is not yet in service.

2. No donation service at this stage

This site is an information site about the Trivio project. It does not allow you to make a donation, raise funds, or register an organization as a beneficiary. Any communication suggesting otherwise would be fraudulent — please report it to info@trivio.tech.

3. Newsletter sign-up

By submitting your email through the "Stay informed" form, you expressly consent, within the meaning of CASL, to receive electronic communications from Trivio about the project and its launch. You can withdraw this consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@trivio.tech.

4. Intellectual property

The content of the site — text, visual identity (mark, logo, colors), illustrations, source code — is owned by Trivio or its partners and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property law. Reproduction, modification, or commercial reuse is forbidden without prior written authorization.

Names and logos of organizations mentioned (if any) belong to their respective owners and are used illustratively only.

5. Acceptable use

By using this site, you agree to:

  • not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the service;
  • not use the forms to submit illegal, deceptive, or spam content;
  • not impersonate another person or organization when contacting us.

6. External links

The site may contain links to third-party sites (e.g. the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec). Trivio is not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those sites.

7. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is." Trivio takes reasonable steps to keep the content accurate and available, but does not guarantee the absence of errors, interruptions, or defects. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trivio disclaims liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the judicial district of Montreal.

9. Updates

Trivio may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to subscribers. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
